Information Hubs about the NDIS – Yooralla

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is coming to north east Melbourne from 1 July and we want to you help get ready.

If you live in the local government areas of Yarra, Darebin, Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Banyule this is an important and exciting time for you, your family and carers, and for all Australians with disability.

The NDIS will mean that people with disability have greater choice and control over their lives. Yooralla was one of the pivotal organisations who lobbied for the NDIS.

Yooralla is keen to make sure that you are informed about the NDIS and are prepared for the change the NDIS will bring to your life.

We are coming to your local area and opening up shop in a shopping precinct near you. We call our shops Information Hubs.

What’s on at Yooralla’s Information Hubs?

At our Information Hubs you can pop in to get answers your questions, or help with any concerns you have about this change will mean for you.

There will also be free information sessions if you want to get an overview of the NDIS.

Plus we’ll be joined on some days by Victorian Advocacy League for Individuals with Disability (VALID), Guide Dogs Victoria and Action on Disability with Ethnic Communities (ADEC).
