Large group now qualified in Aged Care

The Parkes Services Club was the venue for the presentation of certificates to graduates in the OCTEC Limited Certificate IV in Aged Care.

All up some 26 participants can now boast they are fully qualified in their roles.

Two participants received Statements of Attainment for part completion in Certificate IV in Aged Care.

The dual graduation presentation was the culmination of two courses facilitated in Parkes by OCTEC at it’s local premises in Clarinda Street.

The trainer was Anna-Maree Bloomfield.

Funding was provided by the NSW Department of Human Services under the Aged Care Workforce Vocational Education Training (ACWVET).

Participants were staff from Aged Care providers in Parkes and Forbes including Niola Nursing Home (Parkes), Jemalong Residential Village (Forbes), Southern Cross Village (Parkes), Rosedurnate Nursing Home (Parkes) and the Mater Nursing Home (Forbes).
