Consumer Directed Care - future in Age Care
The Synod of the Diocese of Sydney is merging Anglicare and Anglican Retirement Villages (ARV) to better meet the need for their services in aged care taking into account industry moves to Consumer Directed Care, User Pays and increased competition from large for profit organisations.
It is good to see some organisations are looking to the future, Consumer Directed Care in Nursing Homes and the other 8 majors points highlighted in the the Aged Care Road Map point to accelerated change for the Aged Care Industry in the coming years.
