Helping Hand's home and community care services recently underwent a very thorough quality review through the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency.
Their home and community care services in metro Adelaide and regional South Australia were assessed against the Home Care Common Standards, which includes details relating to management practices, how people access and use Helping Hand's services, as well as client rights and responsibilities.
The review process included an examination of records and interviews with staff, and opportunity was given for Helping Hand's home care clients to give feedback to the review team if they wished.
Helping Hand are delighted to announce that the Agency received over 40 phone calls from clients who expressed their positive experience, and who wanted to pass on their thanks for the services provided by staff and volunteers.
The team at Helping Hand are very proud to have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both clients and the review team, who acknowledged that their home care services had met all the Home Care Common Standards and gave great comments on the exceptional level of service to the community.
Helping Hand's passion for supporting clients to remain independent has shone through, and they wish to thank everyone involved for making this review process a resounding success.
