Open for consultation: draft GST guidance on home care and residential care
The ATO is seeking feedback on our draft guidance documents on GST and home care and GST and residential care.
Developed in response to requests from industry, the drafts aim to help home care and residential care suppliers understand their GST obligations:
when, and to what extent, the services you supply are GST-free
how GST applies to subcontracted services.
The ATO said Your feedback will help us make our guidance practical and relevant. If you are a home care or residential care supplier, or an interested party, have a look to see if they work for you.
