Virtual Personal Assistants (VPA's) are expected to go mainstream for Telehealth and Telecare in the near future. Think devices like Amazon Echo, Google Home and Apple Homepod, once healthcare software and medical devices are built to connect to these off the shelf devices the cost of Telehealth and Telecare will significantly decrease and rapidly expand into the community to become everyday items for frail and sick people. This will allow people to keep their independence longer, staying in their homes, being part of their community and living healthier and longer lives.
