Latest Home Care report more people in queue than have packages
Home Care Packages Program Data Report just released
The big news is:
- Demand is growing a a rate of 23.9%
- More than double the amount of consumers on packages are waiting on a queue. 10,508 on a queue and 71,423 with packages
- 40.2% of consumers with packages are on lower levels than assessed for waiting for a higher level to become available. That is over 28,000 consumers that are being pushed into Residential Care due to not being able to get the level of care in their home they have been assessed as needing
