New Charter of Rights for Aged Care Recipients

The new single charter of rights has been released for federally funded aged care clients, of note:

1. The start date is 1/7/2019

2. All new clients must get an individually signed copy from 1/7/2019

3. Clients must have the opportunity to also sign the document

4. Existing Residential and Short term Restorative Clients must be given a copy by 30/9/2019

5. Home Care Clients must be given a copy by 31/12/2019
