Single Touch Payroll Employer Engagement Forum 16 November 2017
The ATO is running a webinar information session for Employers on Single Touch Payroll. I highly encourage all employers to participate/listen to this webinar. Although some payroll software providers are well advanced in recreating the required features for STP, others haven't started. The biggest requirement for employers is to ensure their payroll software will be able to do Single Touch Payroll well before the 1/7/2018 deadline so they can get everyone who needs to be registered, trained and the new version of the software installed. June 2018 is too late as there will be too many organisations trying to do this at the last minute. At Inerva our plan is to have all of our users running Single Touch Payroll by the end of April 2018 to beat the mad rush in May/June 2018.
