Single Touch Payroll version 2
Today the ATO announced the introduction of new version of Single Touch payroll, STP version 2 planned to go live on 1/7/2020. I attended the ATO's webinar on this today and can reassure our current and future users of our Inerva Software that we will be at the forefront of these changes. The ATO will require significantly more information to be transmitted at the end of each payrun.
There is nothing for our Inerva Payroll users to do, we at Inerva will create the new file format with the extra fields and information the ATO requires. We will update our users on what all of the extra fields are when they become publicly available.
